Rental Terms, Conditions & Notes

Cancellation Policy

'Non Refundable' reservations

  • You must pay the full amount and you will receive a 10% discount. The payment amount is non-refundable in case of cancellation.

'Free Cancellation' reservations

The deposit is 30% of the total amount.

  • In case of cancellation up to 7 days before the date of arrival, the deposit is refundable.
  • In case of cancellation in less than 7 days before the date of arrival or no show, 100% of the total amount will be charged to your credit card.

Driver's age

Drivers must be between 21 and 75 years old.

Driving License

Drivers must show the appropriate driver’s license for the vehicle reserved valid for at least 2 years.

Taxes

24% VAT and 0.5% city tax are included in the rental rates.

General Terms & Notes

  • In case of "Last minute" technical problems the company has the right to change the vehicle you have selected and to replace it with another vehicle without extra charge or to cancel the reservation or return the money of the booking, always in consultation with the customer.
  • Ferrying the rental car to any other island or mainland is not allowed.
  • All traffic fines that may arise during the car rental must be paid by the renter.
  • Smile Naxos Car Rental ensure confidential handling of all your personal data we received.
  • Unlimited mileage is included in our rates.
  • We offer baby cots and booster Seats for free.
  • In case of last minute reservation (2-3 hours before vehicle delivery) or if you need help or more info please call us or text us in whatsapp/viber. Also in case of delayed ferry or flight should inform us.
  • Our staff will wait you at airport/port holding a sign with your name. Even in case of your ferry/flight delay our staff keep expecting you. Also we help you with your luggage and offer you any other information/service you may want.
  • It is necessary to provide a correct email address and mobile phone number when making your reservation. If we cannot reach you at the delivery point because you have given the wrong contact details, your booking is cancelled and there is no refund.
